Learning to Embrace Diversity Together
Diversity shapes our society across cultural backgrounds, identities, and ways of life. In this year's Children's Workshop, we introduce young participants to the beauty and strength of diversity through art, play, and dialogue.
Prejudices and stereotypes often take root early in childhood. It is therefore vital to nurture sensitivity against discrimination and exclusion from young age. Children who learn to embrace differences develop empathy and long-term mutual respect.
During the Ost Express Film Festival, children work on hands-on art projects, painting, and collective storytelling around 'Diversity'. These creative activities encourage imagination, dismantle boundaries, and celebrate community across linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
